Wirehaired Pointing Griffon

        The Wirehaired Pointing Griffon is a medium sized dog used in hunting. The coat is a double, straight and wiry, usually colored steel grey with brown markings. The males should be 22-24 inches tall, with no weight limitations. The females should be 20-22 inches tall, also with no weight limitations. He can be a hunter in the field, or a retriever in the water. Two for the size of one! He has a quick mind, is outgoing and showings a willingness to please. He makes an excellent hunting dog as well an excellent companion.
