Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier

        The Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier is most definitely named correctly!  He is a terrier, and his coat is soft.  It also has an unvarying wheaten color.  They are fairly large, with the male 18-19 inches, and the female at 18 inches.  They weigh pretty much fairly accurately for their size, with the male at 35-45 pounds, and the female at 35.  Even though they have long coats, a little trimming and medium grooming will keep him looking his best.  They’re very cheerful dogs that get along well with people.
