Skye Terrier

        The Skye Terrier comes from the same root breed as the all-famous Scottish Terrier.  He is approximately twice as long as he is tall, and is virtually a furry version of the Dachshund.  He’s a small dog, with the male being 10 inches in height and 25 pounds.  The female is also 10 inches in height, but only 24 pounds on the scale.  His coat is most usually black or white, and it’s hard and straight.  Even though he has a small size, this little dog is a fairly good watchdog.  He is distrustful of strangers, but he still has no more of an intention to bite as any other breed.  He’s a good watchdog that is still loyal to his family, and with the right grooming, is also a beauty star.
