Shetland Sheepdog
The Shetland Sheepdog
is literally a version of the Rough Collie.
Today, their job isn’t so much herding as being a companion to family or
singles, although they are still capable of it if they need to. Photogenic they are, and they are especially
cute as puppies! Their coat is long, and
it can be colored sable, blue, merle, black or white in any mix. The male is 14½ inches and the female is 14
inches at the bare minimum. Both genders
are the same weight at 20 pounds. They
are affectionate and responsive to training, and they make great companions,
especially to the elderly.
