Schnauzer

        The Standard Schnauzer is the middle size of the Schnauzers.  He gives a warning when a stranger approaches the property, whether or not a friend or an enemy.  He tends to love children, as well as he loves exercise.  Their coats have the same wiry texture as the Miniatures, and it comes in the same colors, such as black and pepper and salt.  The male is 19 inches tall, and he weighs 39½ pounds.  The female is 18 inches tall, and she weighs 35 pounds.  They are alert and reliable, and make good companions, especially since he loves children!
