Pyrenean Mountain Dog

        The Pyrenean Mountain Dog is also known as the Great Pyrenees.  He is a solid dog that is one of the sheep guard dogs in Europe.  He also grows double dew claws on his hind legs, and this helps him move on snowy terrain.  His coat is long and a white that merges in with the flock.  They are a giant size, with the male at 27½ inches tall, and the female at 25½ inches tall.  They are confident and good family members, and he has a gentle temperament.
