Pug

        The Pug is a very well-known breed.  He is small and sturdy, and is very compact.  He has a Spitz-type tail, but not ears.  His coat is short and comes in fawn, apricot, silver or black with a black mask over his face.  Both genders are the same size and weight.  They are 10-11 inches tall, and they are 14-17½ pounds.  They are lively and cheerful, and they make people smile because they are sure of their importance.
