Pomeranian

        The Pomeranian is a Spitz type, and he originated in Pomerania.  They evolved from sled dogs in Greenland and Lapland, and they were eventually brought into England.  His coat’s show trim makes him look like a lion.  His coat is long, and it can be colored orange, black or cream to white.  Both genders are the same size, at 8½-11 inches.  Both genders are also the same weight, with their weigh at 4-4½ pounds.  They are intelligent and an outgoing dog, and are perfect for families that can stand his conversation interrupting yap!
