Pekingese
The Pekingese originated in China. He, in fact, came specifically from the Tang
Dynasty. Their heads are black, in
contrast to their usually lightly colored coats. Their coats are very long, and they can be
colored any color except albino and liver in any mix. Both genders are short at only 7 inches
tall. The male is a maximum of 11
pounds, and the female is a maximum of 12 pounds. They are loyal but aloof, and make good
family companions.
