Otterhound

        Otterhounds are big, muscled dogs. The male is 27 inches tall and weighs 88-115 pounds, and the female is 24 inches, and weighs 100 pounds.  They are hunting dogs, and used to hunt otters in Britain, but that became illegal.  They need a lot of exercise, and a caring owner to take care of them.  They’re typically a pack dog, but a good “pack” of humans would be just as well!  They tend to get dirty before coming into the house, so an owner of this huge dog has to be relaxed about this.  This huge dog looks sort of mean, but in reality is not mean at all.
