Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever

        This breed is not unlike the Kooikerhondje in terms of hunting jobs, but they use a different technique to lure the ducks.  Their ceaselessly wagging tails lures them.  These dogs are quite medium, not a toy, but also not a giant or even large.  They’re typically 17-21 ½ inches tall, and they pretty much weigh slightly heavy for their size.   They weigh around 37 ½-50 ½ pounds, which can be a pain in case of an emergency!  Their coats are orange or red, and the tail is especially furry.  This dog makes a cheerful member of a household that loves being taught to be a helper.
