Leonberger

        The Leonberger is a whole lot of dog!  They are very heavy; both genders weigh 75-110 pounds.  The male is 28-32 inches tall, and the female is 25½-29½ inches tall.  He originated from the town Leonberg in Germany, and he needs a lot of food to keep him going.  What is very strange about this breed is that the closer you get to one, the kinder its expression gets.  Their red, brown, golden or yellow range coat is of medium length, but there is a lot of it!  They are very kind, and are good family or single companions
