Labrador Retriever

        This is another famous dog, and they’re instantly recognizable.  They originated in Greenland, and they have short, hard coats.  These coats can be colored the rare chocolate, the usual black or yellow.  This dog can have many jobs, like the Golden Retriever, but their area of most skill is in retrieving things from water.  They aren’t very tall, with the male at 22-22 ½ inches, and the female at 21-22 inches tall.  These dogs can take rough play, but they are also friendly and intelligent, which makes them perfect for families or households.
