King Charles Spaniel

        The King Charles Spaniel has to differentiated from the Cavalier King Charles, which is completely different breed.  He is also known as the English Toy Spaniel, and is similar to the Cavalier but has a round head and shorter nose.  He was also the original of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.  His coat is of medium length, and it can be colored black, tan, ruby, Blenheim in any mix.  Both genders are the same weight at 8-14 pounds.  The male is 10 inches tall, and the female is 8 inches tall.  They are gentle and affectionate, and they make good household pets.
