Italian Spinone
This breed has
a very hard to pronounce name, so this is how it’s pronounced: Italian spin-oh-ny. They probably
come from Italy,
hence their name, but I’m not really sure.
They’re fairly tall, the dog being 23 ˝-27 inches tall, and the female
being 23-25 ˝ inches tall. They weigh
about as much as suspected from their size, with the male weighing 75-86
pounds, and the female being 64-75 pounds in the healthy dog. He has a wiry coat that can be orange, brown or white in
any combo. He may need some grooming
time, and he needs quite a bit of exercise, but he doesn’t need much
feeding. He makes a friendly, alert
family dog that is gaining popularity.
