Hungarian Puli
The Hungarian Puli is a herding dog, and
he typifies the cliché “once seen, never forgotten”. He needs exercise, but not demandingly. He is from mid-Europe, and he has a very distinctive
coat. His black, fawn, grey, or apricot
coat is weather resistant, and forms into cords as he grows older. The male is 16-17½ inches tall, and he weighs
28½-33 pounds. The female is 14½-16½
inches tall, and she weighs 22-28½ pounds.
They are lively, but careful with strangers, and he therefore makes a
good guard dog.
