Hovawart

        The Hovawart is pronounced “hoffawart” and originates from Bavaria.  He is still rare outside of Bavaria, but he is not demanding inn food or exercise.  He also is trainable, and can take city life.  His medum length coat can be gold and black, goldish blond or black alone.  The male is 25-27½ inches tall, and he weighs 66-88 pounds.  The female is 23-25½ inches tall, and she weighs 55-77 pounds.  These dogs are alert and intelligent, willful and easily suited to family life.
