Harrier

        The Harrier is a dog that is made especially for hunting hares.  He has been around for centuries, and is a scent hound.  In the U.S., the breed is officially recognized, and don’t try to domesticate one from the wild.  He needs lots of exercise, and has a very short coat.  He is a kind dog, and is not a very tall one, either. They stand 19-21 inches high, and in the healthy dog, they weigh 48 ½-59 ½ pounds.  They like humans and living in the country, but they will like life in a town with lots of exercise.
