German Wire-Haired Pointer

        The German Wire-Haired Pointer (GWP) is another hunting multiuse dog.  His coat makes him look funny, as he has a moustache around his muzzle.  The colors are usually a dark brown, black or tan color.  He also is pretty tall, the male being 23 ½-26 inches, and the female being 22-24 inches.  They weigh a reasonable amount, the male weighing 55-57 pounds, and the female at 45-64.  The coloring and exercise are the same as the German Short-Haired Pointer.  If this dog is to be a city dog, he needs a lot of exercise.
