German Short-Haired Pointer

        The German Short-Haired Pointer (GSP) is a handsome hunting multipurpose dog.  He has a smooth coat, and is pretty tall.  The male is 23-25 inches tall, and he weighs 63 pounds.  The female is 21-23 inches tall, and she weighs 53 pounds.  His tail is not the longest or shortest, for it’s usually kept to a medium length.  Whether he’s used as a family dog or a hunting dog, extra training would be helpful.  He is a very athletic dog, and an athletic life would be best for this dog, for it’s a pity to waste such an athletic touch.
