French Bulldog

        The French Bulldog is, as his name hints, in the French version of the Bulldog.  He, like the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, will do anything to keep his house and human friends safe.  He, like the Bulldog, cannot stand hot days, as his shorter muzzle tends to make it hard for him.  These dogs are fairly small, with both genders at 12-12½ inches tall.  The male is 27½ pounds, and the female is 24 pounds on the scale.  Both genders of the breed make wonderful house pets, with a naturally intelligent and cheerful mood.
