Eskimo Dog

The Eskimo Dog is a husky, used for pulling sleds.  He’s smaller than the Alaskan Malamutes, but they are thicker than the Siberian Husky.  He was bred for the specific use of the Inuit people, and he can pull fairly heavy sleds.  His coat is thick, and he can pull in the coldest of cold weather.  They are very heavy with the male weighing 75-104 pounds, and the female weighing 59½-90½ pounds.  They are average size, with the male at 23-27 inches tall, and the female at 20-24 inches tall.  They are wary as well as alert, and if you like hard, working dogs, this is the dog for you.
