English Cocker Spaniel

        The English Cocker Spaniel is the breed that American Cocker Spaniels originated from.  They’re about the same size, with the male being 15-16 inches tall, and the female at 15-15½ inches.  Both genders of this breed also weigh 27½ pounds.  Their coat is also relatively the same, with the exception of the English version’s being shorter and therefore also easier to groom.  The colors of their coats vary in about the same shades, with the most common colors being gold and black.  These dogs also love to carry things, so they can be a delight in bringing your slippers to your bedside.   He is a good volunteer for carrying anything you need for him to carry, and he has a cheerful and exuberant mood.
