Dogue de Bordeaux

The Dogue de Bordeaux’s wrinkled head can be easily confused with the Shar Pei. The Dogue de Bordeaux’s coat is fine, soft to the touch, and usually colored in shades of fawn. As of size and weight, the males should be 23.5-27 inches tall, and weigh at least 110 pounds. The females should be 23-26 inches tall, and weigh at least 99 pounds. The Dogue de Bordeaux’s origin I located in France, and its coat is wrinkly like the Shar Pei’s. They have an athletic build, much like a pit bull’s. They are gifted with guarding abilities, which they use without aggression, while still being friendly towards their masters.
