Deerhound
The Deerhound
is a breed from Scotland,
and is literally a Greyhound with a shaggy overcoat. He’s hunted deer for 1,000 years, and is very
lovable. He’s a very, very tall breed,
at 30 inches high for the male, and 28 inches for the female. The male weighs 100 pounds, and the female
weighs 80 ½. Grooming is fairly east,
thanks to the harshness of the coat. The
coat can be from grey to fawn-colored in color, and the breed is highly
trainable. He has the charm and
adaptability that is unusual in a giant.
