Chow Chow

The Chow Chow is not unlike a breed from the Spitz group, and
he has the same pricked up ears and curled tail. These dogs originated in China, and he can serve as either
just a companion or a guard. Unlike
other breeds, these dogs have a strange black color inside their mouth and on
their tongue! The male is 19-22 inches
in height, and he weighs 59½ pounds. The
female is 18-20 inches tall, and she weighs 55 pounds. Their coat is long, and it can be black,
blue, red, fawn, or even cream. These
dogs tend to be partly independent, but they are loyal and wary of strangers.
