Brussels Griffon
The Brussels Griffon
originated in Belgium,
created from cross-breeding between the Affenpinscher and the Belgian Street Dog.
Its coat can be either rough or smooth, and it is usually colored red, black, black
and tan, or reddish brown. The males should weigh 8-10 pounds, but not exceed
12. The females have the same weight limitations as the males. The Brussels Griffon’s ears are short, and sometimes cropped. When not
cut, the beard that forms around the muzzle makes the head look too long for
the ears. He is affectionate, a good watchdog, and he can be taught many
tricks.
