Briard
The Briard originated from France,
and has a certain charm about him. He
tends to get dirty easily, and he has a rugged appearance. He is also capable of being a good guard,
although he has a kindly disposition.
They are large, with the male being 24½-27 inches, and the female being
22-25 inches. They are also fairly
heavy, with the male at 85 pounds and the female at 75 pounds. Their coats are long, and can be colored
black, slate grey, or any shade of fawn.
They have hairy feet, which gives him a tendency to act as a floor
brush. Floor brush or not, he is
friendly to children, and are very trainable.
