Borzoi

        The Borzoi is one of the few breeds that can actually be a tough competition for the Bloodhound in size.  It was bred for hunting wolves, and the dog is 29 inches high, and the female is 27.  Their weight is almost the same as the Bloodhound, with the dog at 90 pounds and the female at 75 pounds.  Their coats are very long, and requires and expert to groom it.  They are also capable of running tremendously fast!  They do not need much food.  They’re dogs that are faithful to their owners, but if they’re annoyed, they could be dangerous!
