Bolognese

        The Bolognese has only recently started to spread from Italy, his native country.  He has a square build, and he is very compact.  He is one of the rare Toy breeds who tend to have a rough-and-ready impression.  His coat is of medium length, and it is always white to a lemon color.  Both genders are the same size and weight.  They are 10-12 inches tall, and they weigh 6½-9 pounds.  They are happy alert, and initially reserved, and they make great family companions.
