Black Russian Terrier

        The Black Russian Terrier has a strong gait that moves along a centerline as speed increases. The coat has double layers, all black. The height of the males should be between 27” and 30” at maturity (reached at 18 months). The height of the females who are also mature should be between 26” and 29”. In this breed, any height difference is considered a serious fault. These dogs have strength while being enduring. They are stable and reliable in temperament, with self-assurance and courage.
