Bernese Mountain Dog
The Bernese Mountain
Dog tends to have a love of food, so he needs to be rationed in order to
not become overweight. He tends to be a
dog for the country, but as long as he gets enough exercise, he could live in a
town as well. He tends to like exercise
in the form of pulling light carts, but a walk here and there might do. Both genders of the breed are 88-97 pounds,
and the male is 25-27½ inches tall, while the female is 23-26 inches tall. The coat is soft ad wavy, and is black with
reddish brown, and a white blaze on the head, with a cross on the chest. They are great companions, although their
exercise needs are fairly demanding.
