Bergamasco

The
Bergamasco’s origin is from Italy,
and where was used as a herding and guarding dog. It is hard to see how he will settle in a
house, since he has strong protective instincts on the mountains. He needs exercise, and needs a lot of food. He might also be a problem when it comes time
to groom him, since his fur tends to mat loosely. He generally has a medium coat, and it can
come in grey, black with grey or white, or light fawn. Both genders are fairly small for their
weight, but he is a muscled dog. Both
genders are 22-24˝ inches tall, and they weigh 57˝-84 pounds.
