Belgian Malinois

The Belgian Malinois was bred for shepherding. Its fur is the length of the German Shepherd’s fur, being about a medium length. Its coat can be fawn to mahogany, and it has black marks, usually on the face and ears, although the tips of his fur are black. The males are usually 24-26 inches tall, and there are no weight regulations or disqualifications. The females are 22-24 inches tall, and they also have no weight regulations. The Belgian Malinois was developed in the city of Malines, where it got its name. The breed participates in herding, sledding, tracking, obedience, and many more activities. They are intelligent, trainable, and are naturally protective without being too aggressive.
