Afghan Hound
The Afghan Hound is a breed that was discovered in Afghanistan by the Western world in
the 19th century. It has a
silky coat, and it characterizes him as one of the most dignified of all the
breeds. His expression is one of
superiority, but he’s very athletic, too.
He’s also very stubborn, but if trained with firmness as a puppy, he
might listen to the dedicated trainer.
He makes an extremely good watchdog, and has powerful teeth. He’s also very tall, the male is 27 ½-29
inches tall, and the female is 25-27 inches.
They’re fairly light with the male being 60 pounds and the females are
50. The Afghan Hound
tends to be a dog for a true dog lover who dedicates themselves to their dogs.
