Work Rib Pattern to aprox. 6" from beginning, ending with a wrong side roww and increasing 2 stitches on the last row - 25 stitches. Change to larger needles and 3 strands of main color. Knit across the next row, increasing 2 stitch at each edge. Increase 1 stitch each edge every 4th row 0 (0, 0, 4) times, every 6th row 0 (1, 5, 3) times, and every 8th row 3 (3, 0, 0) times. Work even on 33 (35, 37, 41) stitches to approx. 18.5 (19, 19.5, 19.5) inches from beginning, ending with a wrong side ro. Sleeve CAp Shaping: Bind off 2 (2, 3, 3) stitches at the beginning of the next 2 rows - 29 (31, 31, 35) stitches. Decrease Row (right side): Knit 2, knit 2 together, knit across, ending sl1, k1, psso, knit 2. Next Row: Purl. Repeat last two ros 2 (3, 4, 3) times more - 23 (23, 21, 27) stitches. Decrease Row 2 (right side): Knit 2, knit 2 together, knit across, ending sl1, k1, psso, knit 2. Decrease Row 3: Purl 2, p2tog-b, purl across, ending p2tog-b, purl 2. Repeat the last 2 rows until 7 stitches remain. On the next right side row, bind off 7 stitches. HOOD: Sew shoulder seams. With right side facing, using smaller needles and color A, knit 4 from right front holder, pick up and knit 9 stitches along front neck edge and 3 stitches down back neck edge. Knit 13 from back holder, increase 2 stitches evenly spaced, pick up and knit 3 up back neck edge and 9 along front neck edge. Knit 4 from left front holder - 47 stitches. Left Side of Hood: Row 1: Purl 5; turn. Row 2 and each following right side row: Sl1 stitch knitwise and with yarn on wrong side, knit to the end of the row. Row 3: Purl 6; turn. Row 5: Purl 7; turn. Row 7: Purl 8; turn. Row 9: Purl 9; turn. Row 11: Purl 10; turn. Row 13: Purl 11; turn. Row 15: Purl 12; turn. Row 17: Purl 13; leaving a tail to weave in later, cut yarn. Right Side of Hood: With right side facing using smaller needles, join color A at the right side of neck opening, knit 5; turn. Row 2 and each following wrong side row: Sl 1 stitch purlwise and with yarn on wrong side, purl to end of row. Row 3: Knit 6; turn. Row 5: Knit 7; turn. Tow 9: Knit 9; turn. Row 11: Knit 10; turn. Row 13: Knit 11; turn. Row 15: Knit 12; turn. Row 17: Knit across all 47 stitches. Beginning with a purl row, work 7 stockinette stitch rows. Next Row: Knit 23, M1, place marker, knit 1, place marker, M1, knit 23. Work 5 rows even. Next Row: Knit to marker, M1, knit 1, M1, knit to the end of the row. Repeat the last 6 rows once more - 53 stitches. Work even until hood measures approx. 8" from beginning, ending with a wrong side row and decreasing 1 stitch at the center of the last row - 52 stitches. Divide stitches onto 2 needles and graft 26 stitches from each side of hood together. FINISHING: Set in sleeves. Join underarm and side seams. Sew zipper in place.
