Finnish Spitz

        The Finnish Spitz is the national dog of Finland, and, as his name suggests, is one of the Spitz group.  He is a bright red in color, and when he’s a puppy, he looks like a fox cub!  He’s a fairly small athletic dog, with the male at 17-20 inches, and the female at 15-18 inches.  They both weigh 31-35 pounds in the healthy dogs.  He’s a very noisy dog, and requires understanding.  He lives a long time, isn’t greedy, and likes to cheer up his friends.  He also loves to be part of a household.
