Bouvier des Flandres

        The Bouvier des Flandres is very powerful.  He originated in Belgium, where he was originally a herding dog, but he is a surprisingly good adapter to town life.  He works with the police department in Belgium as well as other countries such as Britain.  He is also very tall, with the male at 24½-27½ inches tall, and the female at 23½-25½ inches tall.  They weigh a pretty good amount too, with the male at 77-88 pounds, and the female at 60-77 pounds.   Their coats are coarse and long, and can be colored anywhere from fawn to brindle to black.  He is a good house-companion for those who enjoy strong dogs, and deserves his rising popularity.
